I'm just curious. Why do you think the song "monster" wasn't called "the fame monster"? I feel like it would have changed the concept a little and it would be inspired by paparazzi. Especially since she battled the fame monster at the monster ball.

Because nothing in the song has to do with fame. It'd be super-odd. Monster just sounds/feels better.

also, that tiltle is super ****ing vague lol

Well, the lyrics relate to 'monster' but not to 'the fame monster', u know...

That boy is a monster
M-M-M-Monster
That boy is a monster
M-M-M-Monster
That boy is a monster
Er-er-er-er

I personally enjoy when albums aren't named after a song on the album, so keeping "The Fame" out of the title "Monster" was a good decision to me.

because the song is not about fame. i don't think gagz specified which fear the song is about, but if you look at the lyrics, you must realize that it's not about fame. rather, about rape—thematically, many perceive it to be the little sister of swine—or aggressive/dangerous love.
