moonboywow 3,136
I'm just curious. Why do you think the song "monster" wasn't called "the fame monster"? I feel like it would have changed the concept a little and it would be inspired by paparazzi. Especially since she battled the fame monster at the monster ball. FATCAT 60,343
Because nothing in the song has to do with fame. It'd be super-odd. Monster just sounds/feels better.also, that tiltle is super ****ing vague lol This kitten over here (meow)

FGGrayson 9,670
Well, the lyrics relate to 'monster' but not to 'the fame monster', u know...That boy is a monsterM-M-M-MonsterThat boy is a monsterM-M-M-MonsterThat boy is a monsterEr-er-er-er 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 • 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗿 • 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻
gagaisitalian 3,573
I personally enjoy when albums aren't named after a song on the album, so keeping "The Fame" out of the title "Monster" was a good decision to me.
crisTEAne 21,059
because the song is not about fame. i don't think gagz specified which fear the song is about, but if you look at the lyrics, you must realize that it's not about fame. rather, about rape—thematically, many perceive it to be the little sister of swine—or aggressive/dangerous love. if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back
Mark 4,065
It's hard to drop the title "The Fame" when it was your best album ever. 00026 † 10000
