Probably someone else had her come into read for them, to see if she could handle a main role or not. AHS is one of the most popular shows, I doubt they'd take in some scrub just 'cause she's got a big name. I'm guessing she auditioned, there was just no drama around it so no one reported it I would love to see her audition, though. (well no he has cause shes already filming but you know what i mean) That doesn't mean that there weren't other people available who did see her read, to know what she could handle and how they saw her fit into the show. RAMROD 109,631 Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 We just know that much, and make assumption based on that little information.We never know if there are bigger picture to that.We never know why Gaga does what she did.So it is pretty weak reason on why we have to discuss this but to discourage people from taking her acting debut for TV seriously.Inb4 the first reason she did this was she was poised seeing Kinney acting since she have been on his TV series set so often.And she have this opportunity and juat use it.Either way, people change, for many reasons.Even if she don't want to, sometimes she will have to. Doesn't Ryan Murphy tailor the roles of the characters with certain actors/actresses in mind anyway? At least that's what I thought I read somewhere. There is really nothing wrong with changing one's mind and sometimes it is for the better.I get that. People can change their minds. It bothers me because this seemed to be almost like a moral code that she was following. Also, people change their minds or just decide what they said two, three, seven years ago was stupid or didn't make sense anymore! It's so bizarre that fans expect Gaga to never change her thoughts over seven or eight years. Is it immature thinking, or lack of life experience that causes Gaga fans to not understand or relate to simple life changes? There are casting agents and casting departments for every show. There are multiple writers and producers at different levels. You have to trust those people, and many of these people have been with Ryan for years and years and on multiple shows. If Ryan felt like Gaga couldn't handle a big part, after consulting with his people, he would be making Gaga a smaller part of the upcoming season. Gaga called and didn't demand a part, but asked if there was a place for her. That isn't going against a "moral code". Then, we don't know the extent to which she had to audition for her leading role. Once again, Ryan is not the only person that can see castings and readings. How do you know she didn't go in and read for anyone or with anyone in this process? All we know is that Ryan didn't initially see Gaga read...other than that, we have no more information.
