The committee simply doesn't vote for urban music I think this time they will go for the critically acclaimed urban album this time to make up for all of the backlash they received from the urban and online communities. Looking at things from another angle Beyonce also was the biggest/most talked about album in pop culture much like 1989 is now which is why I don't think 1989 will win. Then again this could truly end up being Taylor's 21 era. Out of everyone on pop radio these days Taylor deserves Grammy success the most IMO. I just hope someone deserving wins each award and that cheap hits pandered to children don't get nominated. Blank Space and Style are definitely quality pop songs and should be recognized. I don't know if I'm rooting for 1989 to win the big one quite yet. It will depend on what else is nominated. OT but I really hope Alabama Shakes gets a Best Rock Album nod.
