She is poised by Hollywood right now.

So of course she say what she said.

Let her enjoy her time, I suppose.

If she didn't feel acting is that challenging or what she think it is anymore, she will return to modelling, or doing something else.

I'm surprised :omg: I thought she'd be in there for the long haul, like there's hardly any doubt that she definitely could keep modelling for decades onward like some of the senior fashion models. Good on her for choosing what makes her happiest though, she's got her foot through the door of Hollywood and let's just watch and hope for her continual growth from there

Wow, didn't expect that at all. There's no way of telling if she'll continue to get movie roles but if this makes her happy, good for her. Based on what I saw from Paper Towns, she actually looks as if she could be a decent actress, unlike a lot of models. I don't know how Hollywood will take to her, though. As that interview with Good Morning Sacramento showed, Americans don't always get the British sense of humour and aren't used to actresses being outspoken and a bit weird. There's her looks too. When she gets done up, she can look pretty but she's quite an unusual looking girl, physically striking, but not conventionally attractive. That actually meant a career as a model was perfect for her as this is the look modelling requires, but it could count against her as an actress. It might mean she struggles to get roles or is always typecast as the weird, rebellious girl. It's sad, but that's Hollywood. To be honest, she always seemed like the type of girl who would go right off the rails. Those images of her outside her house last year dropping a sachet of white powder (it looked so deliberate that maybe she did it as a prank for attention) are very concerning. It may be common practice for models but that doesn't make it ok and if she really was sniffing occasionally and modelling got her into that, well, it's for the best that she gave it up. I thought when she started making her name as a model that she'd be a flash in the pan but her acting work could really set her up as an actress if she gets the right breaks.

but on the other hand, her unusual looks might be a good thing for her acting career, as she might get some serious roles, that a conventional beauty wouldn't get. I mean, with a few exceptions like Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie (and a few others), super gorgeous women don't really get serious roles.

She's gorgeous, and the money is good, but I can understand this decision. There's a lot of heavy pressure and criticism that come along with the job, especially after you hit 25. It can get very taxing, I can imagine. Luckily she has other outlets.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
