Because when you say "ARTPOP was a complete disaster" all the time, it just annoys people who liked he album, like myself. (2) so to make it sound like it was this DEEP and genius album is simply reaching (3) even Gaga couldn't make much sense of it and struggled to explain it's meaning with a different answer every time asked (1) i don't know how to explain this any better, so i'm just gonna say it again: ARTPOP album =/= ARTPOP concept (2) it's not reaching.Ā it's theĀ interpretation of the concept. I don't believe that the point of the album was to be about ART, that is way too general and ambiguous. It was about Gaga, revealing in a way that the previous albums were not. Pop music was the medium that she chose to reflect on her own demons, her own vices, and her creative drive.Hence why the album has some of her most upbeat, fizzy sounds, contrasted with some of the darkest subtext of her career. And the more specific the album becomes, I think, the more universal it becomes.I'll leave this here: "You cannot limit art. The nature of art is to become what makes the audience feel or think - it is out of the hands of the artist, and it's certainly out of the hands of the critics." I love ALL of Gagas work. Why? Because I see the art in it. I'm open hearted and open minded to it and even if some of it isn't my fave I respect it. ARTPOP has recieved the most disgusting treatment by so called fans who wonder why it didn't seek so they say (not that I care) Seriously give her some support like she gives us, she never slags us even when we do wrong, why should we her?
