Some people hate ARTPOP and have the right to express that if they please since this is a FORUM after all.

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

Just needed to have my rant (sorry was in the wrong section honestly didn't even know AHS had its own, didn't see I was posting in it) I'm not saying everyone has to like or love or worship what she does. Honestly though every post new and old (even about her upcoming album) always has something about how "S***" ARTPOP was or is and thats the annoying thing. You don't like it all good, have your opinion but honestly let those that did love it and understand it celebrate it even if it is over. To some of us its magical and beautiful and ties into her new stuff. Constantly poking fun at it is pointless if you don't like it, you don't like it. But to poke fun almost makes me question as to whether you do secretly like it because you like talking about it.

People are allowed to have an opinion on the album. You don't have to worship everything Gaga does and lick her ass to be a fan.

Also, wrong section, hunty

I think he was more saying bringing it down instead of constructively criticizing it

Like it's ok not to like it but don't go overboard and **** on what gaga has created

The app and it's features were literally meant to be the whole era. The album is literally a foundation that was meant to be built on through the app......

The album on it's own was a fun party album that was designed to be all "hits" .... Which, yes, it achieved being fun.... the hits though? :awkney:

Obviously, hits and sells don't matter but..... that was one goal of the album :rip:

you're still talking about the album.

OP said that ARTPOP as a concept—from a theoretical perspective, that is—can be seen as a success as, in a paradoxical way, the "underperformance" of the album and the perpetual criticism gagz had to face during the era helped her articulate her intention that goes beyond the album itself.

if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back

The Cheek To Cheek hate threads and posts were weird though. Their only complaint was that it was "boring" ... They literally couldn't fault anything but their own attention spans smh

The thread is about the album? :awkney:

Please explain what your idea of the concept is? I mean the concept of the album changed nearly every week according to Gaga so I'm intrigued what your take is. :lolly:

These are my points exactly.

Its okay not to like something, but when you don't like something let it go and let those that do celebrate it or atleast be constructive and not sarcastic and cruel in intent.

The paradoxical notion is exactly what I was getting at. Thinking beyond the album and at the bigger intentions.

Bad Bromance

@kiwifromvenus and @skeleton.gun, you guys really hit the nail on the head!!  Bravo!!  :applause:  Unfortunately, however, people know GGD is a fan forum and they feel compelled to express their opinions - whether they be good or bad.

It's best to just ignore the negative threads and posts and just carry on your merry way and continue to love ARTPOP.  Take me for example, I don't really care what the rest of this fan base thinks.  I love ARTPOP and I feel like it's tied with Born This Way as being one of Gaga's best albums.  People may choose to agree or disagree with me.  I really don't care either way because it's my opinion.   :trollga:

At the end of the day, I don't let other people's opinions rain on my parade and you shouldn't either because we were Born This Way, baby!!!!!      :gaga:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
