JusKeepBreathin 19,311
I can't believe this white girl makes an ignorant remark about latinos and these execs make the one latino on the panel apologize for setting her straight. Stephen 30,423
good for her but what a damn shame those execs are so backwardanything to please white audiences I guess
Juanjo 2,118
This is so wrong. I can't at this show, it's a mess, anyway.
VenusBlackStar 1,301
Mess mess mess @ the whole thing. Honestly though I can't see how Kelly could have meant what she said any other way. It's a prejudiced stereotype comment she made right next to a Latino woman. What did she think would happen, whether Rosie cut her off or not? RAMROD 108,812
Is that a real picture of her?I need some :air:Ya, she was goth and dating an screamo band vocalist when she was still a part of that The Osbournes show. And she was trying to pick fight with Avril and XTine all the time then. LoveandMagic 1,731
While I think Kelly gravely misspoke, what she said was awful and I can understand Rosie's fury, and for that she shouldn't have to apologize. I can see where such a comment could cut deep, especially to Rosie. Normally I would consider such behavior unprofessional, but under such a tense and heated moment, I can see how someone could lose it. I can't sympathize with Kelly too much, she has spent years trashing many celebrities. I don't know what her hang up was (I think she has/had big self esteem issues) but it seemed she was always trashing someone in interviews or social media. I was thought it was weird she went after pop stars so much, when she herself was (at one time) trying to make it into music. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax." InsideOutright 1,118
If I had to sit next to Kelly Osbourne for an hour five times a week, I'd say the same thing.
Riot Poof 2,236
I feel like people go in and out of The View like it was a revolving door. Good for Rosie tho. At least she has some integrity. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
GHGUY 230
Again Kelly Osbourne stirring up trouble... She misspoke, said ignorant remarks... And Rosie didn't bully her. Just set her straight. The view is a hot mess thank goodness Rosie O'Donnel left. It's not the same without Barbara, Joy, and Elisabeth
Morphine Prince 105,428
Good for her. She didn't need to apologize to that b---h.
StrawberryBlond 14,777
Rosie was due to leave real soon anyway and apparently only missed a few days pay by walking out, but still. If an issue is resolved during the show, there's no need to apologise, surely? There's only one person who should apologise and that's Kelly. Yes, what she said merely came out wrong and we've all said something that had poor wording and made us wish the ground would swallow us up. But when its offended someone, you've still got to apologise. And the offended party shouldn't need to apologise back. Clearly, the producers didn't realise the irony of telling the offended Hispanic to apologise to the white girl who was critiquing a racist slur against Hispanics. No wonder there's still a perception of racism in the tv industry, even on a multi-racial panel like The View.
