I screamed:sharon:

OMG, you changed your username?  How come, hun?

OT:  I wonder why Adele, Sam Smith, and now Megan Trainor have all had vocal cord damage.  Is it because they're not singing properly and are damaging their cords?  But, shouldn't they have a vocal coach that trains them?

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

I was just tired of seeing the same username every time I logged in. I kinda miss it now though :flop:

She has ike the least vocally demanding songs in the world :toofunny:

i think it probably has to do with her poor vocal technique that may be harming her vocal chords rather than vocally demanding songs :smh:

it can happen to anyone. If happened to Julie Andrews years ago, and it's not like she didn't use proper vocal technique. (Referring to the initial problems here, not the surgery that damaged her voice permanently)

Artists are pushed too much and sing through being sick, when they should take a week or two off. It seems like it is usually artists who sing live, instead of those who rely heavily on backing tracks. The use of heavy backing tracks can help many artists avoid vocal problems.

you can just PM a mod and ask them to change it for you. I think that rule is just in place to keep people from changing their username a million times a day every time they get a new idea :flop:

Oh Troy will cry. Maybe she will try to earn money again with another pop girl :reductive2:

Well, we all know who's not visiting Meghan in the hospital after her surgery...

I'm not sure why there's so much hate for poor Meghan. She just started her career and it appears to be only going up from here, with Marvin Gaye climbing the charts. I wish some of us would be a little more respectful and welcoming to an artist who can actually play an instrument and comes from a background of talent. She has many great songs of interesting genres.

It worries me how much you people are criticizing her, especially when all she's tried to do so far is write some funny self-acceptance songs (does this sound familiar?)
