Her image as an artist is better than ever since C2C and The Oscars, especially with an older demographic, but on a general spectrum she's not as popular as she was, but AHS should help that, as will a new release. Iwontell 7,312 Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 I think it's pretty 50/50...But frankly, the GP will go with anything the media tells them, so it can change for better or for worse at any time...it's so irrational in a way...so I'm not concerned with that at all.What I'm concerned with is quality. Not that I don't like or appreciate what Gaga has done so far (if I didn't I wouldn't be here), but I want her to advance in her songwriting and music writing as much as she has advanced vocally in the last two years...to me that's all that matters now. But popularity-wise, I don't see her gaining back the same amount as pre-Born This Way, which is fine by me. I didn't become a stan for her popularity anyway. But there will always be people who think she's talentless or can't sing, regardless of how wrong their opinions are. Most people that I have encountered IRL either think that Gaga's a joke and/or that she makes lame music. Should I turn them into hideous monsters and banish them to the Underworld? I think she isn't as popular with the GP as she used to be during her peak, but her name's not in the gutter the way it unfortunately was at the beginning of the ARTPOP era. I just hope her new album is received warmly by the fickle GP and that she has at least one top 3 hit and one top 10 hit. I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.
