I was quick to hate on this, but some of the advice isn't bad. However they seem a bit hypocritical telling her not to worry about commercial success yet giving her advice to drive up sales and make chart topping hits. And considering some of the reviews they've given in the past, I'm giving them a bit of a side-eye.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

DO record “Telephone Part II

Telephone Part II?  I think they mean Paparazzi Part III :usrs:

How about

DO: Make an album you believe in
DON'T: Let anyone pressure you into doing anything, including Billboard and Little Managers

The thing that I don't like: they gave ARTPOP 83/100 and now with the underperformance, they trash it....

I agree but at the same time it is something that is expected from a company that lives of off measuring music sales.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I hate it when people tell Gaga to shorten her albums. I think a 20 track album would be great if she has 20 masterpieces.

Did you notice that C2C, the Oscars, and Gaga's vocal talent were mentioned in this article as major positives? They even used a picture from the Stevie Wonder tribute. That's what we were saying in the other thread, that these performances would influence the media's attitude towards the next solo era...and it has already started!

Don't underestimate the chance that the GP was influenced by these performances, as well. Like I stated in my earlier comment, I don't necessarily believe it will have an overwhelming impact on first week numbers, but at least some of the ridiculous amounts of negativity may be diminished.

They can go screw themself. Media can stop with their opinions about what Gaga "should do". All they are concerned with is doing what makes someone popular. Just shut up billboard.

Am I the only one that agrees that Gaga could use an infusion of other songwriters for at least one of her songs? I think it would be nice to see what Gaga could write up with experimental artists like Grimes.

I'd die if she wrote a song with Hayley Williams or Paramore as a whole, but I know that'd never happen.

You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you.

DO work with new co-writers. "She still insists on writing her own songs, and ARTPOP was a mess,” one former Gaga associate told Billboard last March.

I don't agree with this one. I don't see why she has to write with other people if she is more comfortable expressing her thoughts, her feelings, and her lyrics on her own, she has talent, she doesn't need them.

Others may agree with you, but here is the catch...Gaga doesn't. She isn't going to use other songwriters, not hired ones brought into make hits.

She will collab with people like Elton and if it can work out, Adele. Other than situations like those, I wouldn't expect her to use other songwriters.

Here for crazy lyrics tbh

Lately I've been trying to think of what a collab with Melanie Martinez's crazy self would be like :udidnt:

"DO showcase your voice"

That's the only point I care about.

Otherwise, they can go take multiple seats and STFU.
