Why do people hate Dope when this performance exists? (Appreciation Thread)

People could relate more to IWBWU and it was vocally better. 

 

Dope per has some great lyrics but it is ruined by the voice she puts on so for me it is a little cringe.  Also it is morbid AF when I do a run through of the album.  Talk about a downer.

ARTPOP is pretty much Gaga trying to celebrate her pain. Dope fits perfectly there.

I simply adore Dope. My favourite from the album.The song is not made to be 'pretty' and her voice there is not supposed to be mind-meltingly beautiful but the song is about addiction after all. There's nothing beautiful there.
