I'd be excited about that. The jazz eras aren't slowing down her pop music process. She'll still take the same amount of time but instead we'll have another vocally outstanding album to listen to.

To be pretty honest, when Tony announced a follow-up to C2C I instantly thought they would release it for the anniversary of C2C's release. I mean, these records don't take that long to make, and Gaga and Tony have been together non-stop the past few months, they could totally have recorded new material in secret.

However, I don't think that would be really clever to release another jazz record before her next pop album. I mean, I feel like the jazz parenthesis has lasted long enough and she needs to go back to some solo material before people start thinking she ditched her pop career for good. But I would love another collab with Tony sometime in the future.

I also think she'll release her next solo album in 2016 and her follow-up jazz album with Tony Bennett in 2017.  Logically, this is what makes the most sense or people and the media will really begin to wonder if she decided to ditch her pop career, like you mentioned in your above post.

The most difficult thing was to gather Gaga and Tony in the same room with their respective schedules. That's what took time. But the past few months, they shared the same schedule, so problem solved.

I highly doubt of it at least for the moment especially knowing she'll shoot AHS for a while and she's still working on next album... But why not. I mean CtC didn't take her a lot of time to record it... Like she said most of the songs has been recording in one shot !

yeah and the deals between Columbia and Interscope and between Tony's Manager and Bobby Campbell... I've read an article saying that when Campbell has been hired by Gaga, he has made a lot of changes on the original CtC that Troy planned... I guess it took time as well...

I think that will happen.  Tony isn't getting any younger, so they probably won't delay completing the 2nd jazz album.  She can still release a pop or rock album first, but they should get the recording work of the jazz album done now.
