But with ARTPOP, i've only listened to the entire thing 5-6 times since it came out the songs aren't bad imo, they just don't make me wanna listen to them again. i also found the songs not easy to relate to Agree. The songs are not bad (the exception ofJnD, Fashion and Donatella), but they are not relatable compared to her lyrics in TFM or BTW. I listen to Applause, DWUW and Venus (sometimes Aura and Gypsy) but that is it. All the rest seem like fillers. Furthermore, it seemed like she lost her "craziness" and "fierceness" that was built up from TFM and BTW eras. In my messy era. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Watching interviews where she sounds a week away from suicide was sort of a bummer. The music on ARTPOP, though. Her best work so far. This one especially. I mean, my god. It almost makes you want to cry. She was incredibly tired, not happy with how something she'd been working on for two years was playing out, and in my own opinion probably going a little crazy. It's one of my favourite interviews of Gaga ever, though. What she has to say is incredible for a pop artist, really showing her understanding of classical art, but it's easy to tell she's unhappy. Again, her music and words were fantastic, but her true attitude and pride obviously wasn't there. I love this interview too. I especially love "It's just like fast food. I get it that she doesn't want her music to feel like a "cumshot", thus the snippets and swinefestBUT since we already had some of the songs in full, we already got tired of it faster than a mod could lock a troll thread. This + the snippets also gave us expectations on the full studio version. When ARTPOP actually dropped, there were divided opinions on the changes from the swinefest versions, i.e. the meltdowns on the studio version of aura, etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The album I really liked it - it deserved praised that did not come. I like how when Gaga does a album it is different sounding than the previous album - more variety. No, people who constantly complain about an album put out two years ago, like their life depended on their version of success, and who constantly want Gaga to do what they want her to do, when they want her to do it...and get pissed when she doesn't meet their ridiculous expectations are whiney ass, entitled and immature fans.
