It was long because it became a full blown era when everybody thought it was a side project, which was cute at first, but lots of people wanted it to be done with some time ago.

I am really glad that we had the Oscars performance and the H&M campaign and I don't want to sound rude nor offend anyone but I am glad this jazz era is coming to an end.

 

I fell in love with Gaga because of the music she did the years until BTW (and ARTPOP I guess ) and I don't feel obliged to like every single piece of music she creates just because it is sung by Gaga. I want PopGa and I will not feel sorry about it.

A "blackout" is when the artist disappears. Gaga hasn't disappeared AT ALL, she's on tour, she's very active on social media, she's appeared on tons of TV specials and other people's gigs, she's photographed every day. The only "blackout" we've ever experienced was before and after ARTPOP.

Anyway, can't wait for her new music to come out but that will be in a while so I'll just wait for info about AHS! Can't wait to see her on set!

I don't think there will be a big 'blackout' in music though.. I wouldn't be surprised if the lead single of her next album is coming in the next 6 months...
