Tokyo Rose 1,475 Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I think she died from falling from so high up.It didn't look like she was "pulled in" to me.. she appeared to lose her grip and fall through the floor.But I have no idea what the interior mechanism of an escalator is like, so it's hard to say!Sounds like one of the most terrifying ways to die. Really want to watch the video to figure it out but I'm scared It's the top floor plate when you're about to exit the the elevator on top. The floor plate is about 3 feet by 3 feet and is screwed down the floor by screws. I think the technicians didn't screw them in tightly enough and the floor plate came off and she fell in. My father wants to see architecture, and I want to see culture, busy markets and taste good food (or bad food, I think it's hit or miss in Beijing).
