It's an honor for her to be on stage with them, but she was definitely off for a big portion of the performance.

Her collaborations with Sting remain untouchable.

Her voice sounded so good alongside Bono's. I like how her vocals kind of came in subtly blending in with his the beginning too. She looked great also, but I felt second hand nervousness when I saw her toddle up on stage in those shoes, lol, but really, there wasn't a more perfect outfit for her to wear - very grimy rock n' roll and classic Gaga. Last, but not least, I love how our girl is musician - the fact that she can get up there and actually play with the band is just boss AF.

This, one hundred per cent! Gaga looked and sounded great and it is always a bonus that she is an excellent musician. She's simply a cut above!

Gaga and Bono were perfect together!  This is a collab I would like to see in the future on some album.

Speaking for others again. No, it is not what made "us" all fans of Gaga.

My point was that hearing some people spitting on dance music and calling it 'generic' is funny when you know she has done that kind of music from The Fame to ARTPOP. Yeah you're right everybody is not here for Gaga doing dance music, but calling EDM 'generic' is like calling what Gaga has done from 2008 to 2013 and probably next album (knowing RedOne and Moroder are involved) generic.

Whatever it's not the topic.

Its certainty not what make me a fan either. I became a fan after hearing her sing and play piano acoustically. Then I fell in love with her intelligence in interviews. her pop music had to grow on me.

I've never used the word generic, i said basic edm pop. Gaga's music has never been generic to me but come on that woman is too talented to keep lumping herself with the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna. She can't come back with another album full of GUY, Donatella... It's time for her to evolve, especially after putting out Cheek to Cheek, the Oscars, Stevie Wonder tribute, Sting tribute, Linda Perry tribute etc... She is meant for greater things and should stop catering to her young gay fans.

Oh ok I missed your point sorry

I agree with a lot of things you said. Actually Gaga is always doing pop / dance but in a different way. I'm pretty sure her next album will have something very new (even if she'll propably still make dance music). Hence the fact she doesn't want to reveal anything about it.

I couldn't agree more with you about your last sentence :dies:

This is what I was referring to. We all came to be fans for different reasons and appreciate different things! The diversity of her fans show that Gaga is a diverse artist with multiple talents and that there are many positive aspects of her artistry and personality that draw people to her!

I'm not "against" Gaga doing pop, dance, rock or jazz, as she always finds a way to put a unique spin on what she offers. The talent, theatrical presentations and her intelligence shines through, no matter what type of music she puts out or performs. That's why Gaga can give us The Sound of Music tribute, some Stevie Wonder or get up on the stage with U2 and give us an excellent performance...her talent is first and foremost!
