I so agree.  I never liked her Mick Jagger duet at all.  She didn't merge into a duet lettting him shine and supporting him and then him giving her the lime light.  She left him and was all over the stage and it never worked for me. It wasn't the way a guest should come on a duet with such an amazing song.

But Gaga and Bono were perfection, her supporting him as lead vocalist and then the weaving in and out of their vocals, her harmonies with his vocals, the blending like you said and then he let her shine through  to the end and great piano playing..  NYC can be a jaded crowd.  They showed the love with this duet.

Absolutely one of the best duets I've seen with a singer/musician coming on and dueting with the band's vocalist.   A seamless performance with a great rawness  that Gaga added to it and also such beauty to it with them together performing.

Yeah, I really feel like she's improved and matured so much in the past year as a vocal performer, she's far more nuanced and versatile now. I really feel like this is due to her working with Tony and learning from him (just another thing to be grateful for when it comes to C2C).

No. But then again, I'm not really a rock person:neyde:

My two favorite songs by them.  I get chills from these songs, the twists they take musically, not cookie cutter.  Bono's lyrics to Bad are just poetry plus The Edge's guitar just make Bad my favorite song.

Small thing, but I really love the look. As freebit said, very grimy rock'n'roll look, but with a weird Gaga touch because of the heels. In fact, I'm pretty sure she put it together to emphasize the heels.

Seems very "BTW meets late 90's No Doubt-era Gwen Stefani... after fighting in a bar in some obscure Wisconsin highway" kind of look.

3 points in and ready for more

Gosh I love this! This is what music is about, sharing. And how cute are those guys to her? And she looks radical, like a rock n roll Barbarella.

She's really sticking to the pattern I noticed before, not singing her own songs anymore this whole era. She's 'forcing' the audience to take a better, honest look. Oscars, Imagine, Stevie Tribute, Sting tribute, What's up...Bobby and Gaga are smart cookies.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
