Well after all these years its finally getting an official sequel... Er sorta. While it's rather old news being in 2013 following discussions with original film writers Parker Bennett, Steven Applebaum and Ryan Hoss they have scripted a new adventure that continues right where the first film left off. So I guess none of the original actors would sign for it anyway. It's a totally different Mario and thats ok! It's still a horrible movie but not for the reasons you'd think.
