JusKeepBreathin 19,311
She used the words, "I like to ?? compare ?? myself to other artists like Picaso." Why would anyone say she wasn't comparing herself to Picaso? She used those words. DeleteMyAccount 11,881
I hope she does a greatest hits tour at some point. It sounds kind of stupid and something you'd see at a Vegas residency, but she has a lot of younger fans that may never see her perform the classics. Hexxx 2,244
I guess referring to art is a thing now? back in the day, 80s/90s, Madonna would always talk with her friends about Artists and they would always visit the museums. She has brought this up several times Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

She brought this up too. she said she wants to mix it up. the new music is here for today's fans but she wants to do oldies for the fans that have always been with her. she's performing several from the 80s and a couple from the 90s Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

Jjang 2,262
"Madonna thinks artists deep into their careers should stop if they don't have anything more to say." Hard Candy = epic fail MDNA = epic fail Secret Project "Revolution" = EPIC fail, delusions of grandeur Rebel Heart = epic fail Time to take your own advice girl. If you want to tour, then tour. You don't have to make an album every time Hard Candy spawned several worldwide hits and was the 9th best selling album of 2008. MDNA was the world's twelfth best-selling album of 2012. Epic fail. What I'm trying to say is that she should just do a tour without a supporting album. Maybe, release a couple new songs but focus mainly on oldies for the tour. Psychedelic 1,098
You don't have to make an album every time Some people's "failures" can be others' achievements... the thing is not giving up, that was the whole point of her comparison to Picasso, which you like others TOTALLY missed. Although I agree her latest music hasn't been that good, the girl is still trying and having something to say. I'm hopeful she will give us another Ray Of Light one of these days if she continues to try. This is part of the problem, when an artist and its fan base says well don't watch or listen. The problem is no one is watching her videos or listening or buying her albums. What's going to happen when her next album comes out and less people are interested. Most people on this thread are saying, "the problem is it feels like she has nothing more to say." Thats pretty constructive criticism. I totally agree. Like she keeps trying to make music to appeal younger generation instead of focusing on her fans and at the end, neither are satisfied. And then even when she sees the album was a commercial failure, she still shoves half of the new material up on faces at the tour. I hope she learns and does something about it. The slow sales of tickets for this tour should be a good a lesson. My point was that many have been criticizing her for this since HC but dont let go of her, they come back to see what she is up to, even when they know they are not going to like it. It becomes much more of an obsession to make fun of her rather than contructive criticism. On top of that I don't think she is "sadder" to watch this time around than she must have been the last era. The tour is shaping u to be a more organic show, that will contain many forgotten hits that will satistfy the need of many old fans. Let's hope, wait and see. Ferrer Zorola 3,966
I'm sorry but if the themes of your tour are love and romance then no you don't have anything else to say you can already retire btw if someone in the musical business can be compared to Picasso that someone is Lady Gaga like Tony Bennett already said in December 2011 LIFE IS GOOD
