Most of you guys are just as bad as those ATRL'ers that everybody dislikes. What's the problem with saying you will stay working until you're done, just like Picasso did? Why be so shady? :crossed:

Picasso did some of his best works in his late years, she did "Bitch, I'm Madonna".

I like her quotes. The last two albums were a bit of a letdown, but it's her life, her career. If she is happy with them that's all that really matters.

The tour set list will be interesting. Lots of memorable past hits.

I see absolutely no problem with it. She's still physically able to perform, and more importantly, she still wants to. Further more she seems to still think she has something else to say and contribute to the world of pop, so why not? I'm hoping for a ROL 2.0 at some point (I still think she has it in her), but as far as I'm concerned there is no expiration date on female singers, as long as they are physically capable and people are willing to finance their efforts (or that they can afford it). There really is no "letting" Madonna have a music career at this point, she has enough money to fund recording, videos, tours, etc, and she has enough fans where it's not too much effort to fill seating. She could basically put her career on auto-pilot at this point, but I'm hoping she gets inspired for the next album.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

I like this. this is very inspiring to me. Why stop what you're doing just because people think that you're too old. I'm gonna do what i love to do until the day i die.

She is right and she should keep on making music if she feels that. Why should she stop? I get her point, and idk why you bas her for saying that :toofunny:

Her music lately hasn't been that good tho...

"Madonna thinks artists deep into their careers should stop if they don't have anything more to say."

Hard Candy = epic fail

MDNA = epic fail

Secret Project "Revolution" = EPIC fail, delusions of grandeur

Rebel Heart = epic fail

Time to take your own advice girl. If you want to tour, then tour. You don't have to make an album every time :toofunny:

People are so extra. Madonna compares herself to others, and that's fine. I don't understand why people have to be so shady and rip her apart for that.

Hell, I compare myself to Gaga sometimes. It's normal for people to see elements of themselves in others and use that as inspiration. That's what Madonna is doing, and I think it's quite lovely.

Some select choices from her past two albums. "Gang Bang", "S.E.X.", "Icoinic", "Bitch I'm Madonna", "Girl Gone Wild", "Masterpiece" and "I ****ed Up". Seems the only thing that is inspiring her is s-x and her ego to me. These are the kind of songs I expect from a younger 20's age girl - not one who has been a huge player in the music business for nearly 3 decades. Her music has become immature and is just watering down her legacy - she should make music until she dies, but why does she insist on trying to recapture the same lighting in a bottle that made her big all those years ago instead of searching for a new one? Whatever I guess...

Iconic -- whether to be someone or remain a dreamer.

Masterpiece - comparing a person's love to an artistic masterpiece.

I ****ed Up - admitting her relationship with her husband failed and being explicit about it.

Gang Bang - a pun on the title but it also means a violent act carried out by gangs (not s-x with multiple men all the time)

SEX - well obviously.

Bitch I'm Madonna -- self parody.

Girl Gone Wild - a demo she recorded.

yeah, b---h better hire a better vocal coach :lolly:

Don't watch her anymore... problem solved :neyde:

This is part of the problem, when an artist and its fan base says well don't watch or listen. The problem is no one is watching her videos or listening or buying her albums. What's going to happen when her next album comes out and less people are interested. Most people on this thread are saying, "the problem is it feels like she has nothing more to say." Thats pretty constructive criticism.
