It is indeed the strongest possibility, she mentions in the last video she uploaded that she's battling with depression and as well suffering from a posttraumatic stress disorder.

She could've been strangled too. She had scars on her back and arms. Did you see autopsy photos?

Why there's no footage from the cell? Why was there even a trashbag? I know someone who spent a night in prison, no belts, no shoelaces, no bedsheets, nothing which can be used to strangle oneself. How did she swallow large ammount of marijuana before she "killed" herself on 3rd day, when she was strip-searched on first? It all depends who conducted investigation, I believe it's all cover up.

Even if she had depression it doesn't mean she'd kill herself in that prison, she was trying to bail herself out.

Your belief in the police story that she hung herself - without any evidence to substantiate this as fact - is not a neutral position to take.

Yes is is a neutral position. Innocent until proven guilty. You can't just say "the police killed Sandra Bland!" and not have any evidence to support it. You're making the accusations so it's your responsibility to present the receipts!

And "she was starting a new job and how did she get a trash bag!!1!1" is not evidence of a murder conspiracy, so try again.

Another theory: maybe she was blowing cigerette smoke toward him so he got angry and tell her to get out of her car (which is a legal order from what I heard).

Police yanked out this white old woman too so it's about police power most of the time.

There was no independent investigation, feds should've been involved, same people who killed her can write a report. The cops are responsible for you when you are in police custody. You are not suppose to die there. You are not suppose to end up in jail for 3 days and have $5000 bail for a freaking traffic stop violation. The cell is made to hold 5 inmates and there are no security cameras.

I mean, what else can I say People kill themselves in prison cells at an astonishing rate, especially in the U.S. I don't advise you to spend an hour looking into it like me because it made me physically sick, but it does happen frequently. She stole the plastic liner of a trashcan, it's not impossible and it wuold be one of many creative ways to kill oneself in prison.

The autopsy was done by a state forensics agency. The cuts on her wrists (about 30!) were identified as being from 2-4 weeks ago. The neck injury was found consistent with suicide by hanging and showed no violent struggle. The marijuana thing hasn't even been confirmed yet, attorneys are convinced that it's also possible she just smoked it before her arrest and it was still in her system. Prison forms show that she told jailers she had already attempted suicide before.

It's still possible all of this is fake, but that's unlikely. Attorneys would have to be bought, state autopsies would have to be faked, prison forms faked,... I mean come on. If that's true, the truth will come out somehow. There'd be too many people involved for that not to happen.

Until then, all evidence leads to the conclusion that she killed herself.

There are inconsistencies in those forms.

Yes or no? if she lost a baby in 2015 why would she say her most recent lost was her godmother and the questions are back to back?

-They are saying she made this movable garbage-bag slip-knot noose, unnoticed by any staff. 

-Looks like something you would have to be in the Boy Scouts for to know how to make. 

-Making a usable sliding noose for human weight out of a trash bag is not a simple task.

-What was high enough in that cell to hang a 6 ft woman from?

So she gave different answers to different people, what of it? Am I supposed to believe that her murder was plotted so far in advance that multiple officers faked her intake papers? Come on. I by no means am certain as to what happened, but the idea of an entire jail system going so far as to prepare the d--gging and hanging-as-if-she-did-it-herself of a woman, perfectly aware of the necessity of a thorough research when she's found dead, is just absurd.

The recent loss thing is also obvious. Either the baby doesn't count because it hadn't been born (I'm guessing that's what happened) or it was already written down with the year next to it, so no need to repeat it. If they were serious about covering up her murder, you can be sure that they took the time to fake her evidence thoroughly

It's like some of you want her to have been murdered for your own agenda's. Every single detail of evidence is another clue for morbidly imaginative murder narratives. Which makes me raise an eyebrow to say the least. We're not even involved.

Believe what you want tbh. Her unjust and violent arrest is enough reason to suspect something went wrong. It's not like she was sentenced for life, she waited her friend/sister to bail her out. Same could be said about those who find weak explanation for every inconsistency, it's for their own agendas? Makes me wanna raise eyebrow at least.

It can happen to anyone. People can have empathy and interest in this case.  

If things don't make sense, they don't make sense. Waller county @wallerinfo  was gossiping about the case on twitter, mentions marijuana as if it contributed to her state of mind and wish for suicide.

After stating for a week that she hung herself from a partition in her cell, the DA now says it was the ceiling.

This inventory sheet does not list "trash can" and "trash bag". It lists every other detail.

Weak explanations?

The woman in the cell next to her heard no struggle whatsoever and claims that Bland was overly emotional and was distraught that her friend wasn't coming to bail her out. This sounds like a suitable situation for her to take her own life, especially since body marks show more than 30 self-inflicted wounds made in the last couple of weeks. A sister saying she would have known if it was happening is barely strong evidence that can counter it, especially when she minimized her sister's struggles she confessed in a video as "she probably had a bad day".

The only thing that's still suspicious is how she could've gotten hold of the plastic liner and how she knew how to make a slipknot, but all of that is currently under investigation by the FBI and the Texas Rangers. In August the case will be turned over to a grand jury. Why do we need people who are not qualified to do any sort of research, who do not have access to anything related to the case, who willingly yet unknowingly spread false information from social media and contribute to an unfair generalization of U.S. policemen and employees of the American system of justice to solve this case? We don't.

There is no proof that cuts were "self-inflicted" , could've been from cat. Cutters usually don't wear sleeveless dresses.

Being overly emotional because she was treated like trash, is normal. She was very vocal about police brutality, she'd live only to tell her story.

Dash cam video footage from a Prairie View police cruiser shows a fresh angle of the Sandra Bland arrest.

You can't hear anyone talking in this video.

 

By the time the officer pulls up, Bland is already in the back of the patrol car of the female Prairie View officer who responded to Trooper Brian Encinia's call for backup.

You may recall that's the same Prairie View officer who told Bland she should have thought about her epilepsy before she resisted arrest.

You can see that the officer in this video standing in the same spot where the arrest had just gone down.

Later in this video, you also see the officers walk back to the car, one reaches in and takes Bland out. They put her against the car, patted her down and put her back in.

And you can see the officers continue to talk while Bland sat in the back of that patrol unit.

At this point, when we compare this video with the original dash cam video from Trooper Encinia's unit, it appears this is the point where he's heard explaining to someone on the phone that he tried to de-escalate the stop, that it didn't work, and laughing that he didn't have any serious bodily injuries, but that he was kicked.

I am so disturbed by this story.

I still struggle to comprehend today how law enforcements (speaking universally) don't acquire the justice and rightfulness qualities people not only deserve, but are entitled to.

there is too much evidence in this unsettling story which suggests that this was not a suicidal death; autopsy showing no damage of the throat, esophagus or trachea.

just keep in mind, this is because of a failure to indicate.
all I hope is that her family seek justice for this, because there is more that the public do not know.
