This was the best "in between eras" I've seen in a long while! Gaga was performing at some of the most respected and most watched events of last year, and she received rave reviews! Oblivion 58 Posted July 18, 2015 Share Posted July 18, 2015 I hope Tony and Gaga will win this award, it would only make them look even stronger and will lock Cheek to Cheek as a trully superb jazz collaboration, they deserved it, they showed jazz to younger generations (me included, I knew what was jazz but I had to dig even more with Cheek to Cheek era and it was worth to discover all these covers and get to know some of the singers who got covered by Tony and Gaga) and proved that jazz CAN sell albums and tour.
