Not to mention that 30 seconds of presenting doesn't even consider as a "promo" to her trust me, a lot of people haven't heard from her in a while regardless of her great start. Even if it's for 30 seconds it's still in front of about 15 million people so yeah she still needs it. Also you need to keep in mind she needs to establish a good relationship with the Academy if she is going to be courting more Emmy nominations in the future (hence her participation at the Oscars, the Hollywood Foreign Press thing, etc.). SNL has managed to stay on TV, and stay relevant, for that long and they brought everyone back. It was a big deal and a huge undertaking.I was still hoping for Gaga and Tony, but it was great that the special was respected enough to be nominated!
