Does your radio station play the "F*** her face" version of Poker Face?

OK, so most of us know that Gaga managed to defy censors in Poker Face's famous hook: "P-P-P-Poker face, P-P-F*** her face" is what she really sings. Gaga admitted and alluded to this several times in performances.

Once people became aware of it, some radio stations began playing an edit of the song (referred to officially as the "Clean Radio Edit") that replaces the "fu" with the "po" from the first "Poker Face" so that it sounds like the supposed "P-P-P-Poker face, P-P-POH-ker face". However, some radio stations still play the original album version.

When you hear Poker Face on your local radio station, is it the original "F*** her face" version or the "POH-ker face" version?

For me, about half the stations around here play the original while the other half play the edit. Is the edit even used outside of America? I know radio censorship isn't as tough overseas.

Ermmm no, can you record what you are hearing on your radio station? Don't believe that version ( i do own that version played live over radio) is played anymore on rotation.

I heard the "clean" version today on WLTW 106.7 Lite FM in New York. WPLJ 95.5 New York also still plays that version. WEZN Star 99.9 in Connecticut and WFAS 94.3 in Westchester County both play the original version. All of these stations still play the song now and then, usually at least once a week (they don't play any new Gaga songs, sadly, only old ones)

Here is a comparison between the original and radio versions. The hook of the original plays first, then the one from the radio edit. Then, the "F*** her face/POH-ker face" play back-to-back to further showcase the difference.

Oh ok I get it now. All this time i just thought she changed the pronunciation from POH to PUH-ker-face in different parts of the chorus. Clever girl.....:hunty:

It must be honestly rewarding to her knowing she surpassed censorship of her art for her breakthrough hit. I'm being serious. Shes always so brilliantly clever and I'll always love this moment in radio history, if even today it's still low key known by a minute amount of people.
