There really isn't anything Gaga can do to avoid haters hating.I don't think the labelling is enough to make an album underperform. Cheek to Cheek has done very well. If Gaga had named her album PRISM, we would have heard "P(lagia)RISM". Had she named it BANGERZ, we would have heard "STRANGERZ (to the Top 100)" and so on.
