Ambrosia 3,775
This episode gets a lukewarm response from me. I don't mind build-up and establishment of characters, or seeing how it all went down... but I just think it would be more believable if people were glued to the TV or Internet / phones while they had power. I think that's what normal people would do. I also don't like the early antagonistic behavior with Travis and the owner of the barber shop.I do like the power going off and on again. I think that represents the struggle of society as a whole trying to hang on to what little civilization is left. It builds up the tension well, because whenever the lights come back, you know they are thinking things will get better now, and as the audience we are all waiting for the last time they will ever be on again.I also like the juxtaposition between Madison and Liza, I think? Liza came to her as a mother trying to unite for the kids and Madison was already on the level of thinking, if I ever turn into one of these, you need to end me. That was a heavy scene. Jase 13,317
There's a subtle sense of constant dread which is running through these episodes and it's making for great viewing. I'm really enjoying it so far.
n0ne 13,105
I'm liking the show, I have a feeling the ex wife might die. I enjoyed the premiere more the walking dead premiere. I enjoyed the premiere more the walking dead premiere.I have a suspicion the ex wife might die as well. And they will probably all see Daniel's wife turn - I think they all have to have a shared experience to keep the show going forward.Interesting what you said - I loved "Days Gone By" but since the start, I always wanted to see what it was like in other parts of the country, so I can't complain. I just don't want a CSI effect where the genre gets saturated. I think two is plenty. They are both different - and good. Miker 5,683
Fear of the Walking Dead and I didn't even see any walking dead in the last episode. I guess they are waiting for the last episode or 2 to wheel them in. Mars..........or bust!

I guess they are waiting for the last episode or 2 to wheel them in. Wow, I guess I'm just the opposite. At this point, I don't really need to see the zombies anymore... I mean they are bad and they'll eat you, this I know. But I'm familiar with them and of course, they are the driving force but I'd rather see what the humans do in survivalist situations. I don't mind seeing the zombies when it pushes the story forward. Anyone ever seen an older movie, I think it was British called Sean of the Dead? It was hilarious! But I can't get past his hair. I just want to shave that hot mess. It looks like a Brillo pad. If you don't have the zombies you might as well call this "The Fear That There Is Walking Dead Somewhere". I know more about humans and their behaviors already and it is the panic situations I would rather see when they are confronted by the deadly walkers. Are there smarter Zombies that have higher I.Q.'s or are they all the same? It is the beginning of the apocalypse so why not use this opportunity to give us more info on how the virus may impact people differently. Shaun Of The Dead was funny..... Mars..........or bust! Well, it is called, Fear the WD, NOT See the WD. Hmmm, not too familiar with how people react in a crisis such as the Zombie Apocalypse, so yeah, that I want to see. If you are familiar with how they act, I don't think I'll be visiting Canada anytime soon. I agree with you here however, that I want to know more about how it started and also, I'd like to see different strains. People will react much the same way when they are in a crisis. It doesn't have to be a Zombie Apocalypse. I am more interested about the virus itself and not somewhat predictable actions people may take. Mars..........or bust!
