Cringeworthy as Beyonce's method of announcing this was, I think it's good for people to try new diet options. Going towards vegetarianism got me to try a lot of dishes I normally would not have, and I'm happy to say some of them I actually prefer over the meat versions.

I respect people willing to try something new.

The impact. Haters can seethe and throw "overrated" around like a baseball but Bey remains influential.

I went Vegan for the whole Summer last Summer. It was really easy, and quite tasty. The only reason I stopped is because working and going to school makes cooking hard, and Vegan options literally don't exists in the slaughter houses known as American restaurants (seriously, try finding one. In fact, try finding vegetables, you don't have to order them, just see if there is vegetables at the next place you go eat. And French Fries don't count).

I skimmed that article though. Those people are pathetic and kind of (very much) assholes.

And trying to make Veganism a "fad" diet is absolutely ridiculous. I can't at Beyonce either.

So true about the vegetables. :smh:

What bugs me is America's NEED for meat to be a main dish. It's one of the food groups you need the least of, and you don't even need meat EVERY time you eat from the protein group, yet the way people talk about it and serve it you'd think it provided all the nutrients we need.

Just waiting for people to get over their obsession with it and try new things for once.
