Bt1 5,213
Lmao maybe she's crying because of the flop of her song It flopped? It hit no 1 on Itunes and it doesnt even have a video. Well, dont be upset when people will treat Gaga the same way you treat Demi. Blame yourself for continuing to create this space where superficiality is no

Kayla 7,595
Jesus with all this "music revolution" Who would have thought millionaires would b---h about not being billionaires... What irks me about it is how Gaga was talking about this kind of stuff years ago, but she wasn't focused on the money part. She was focused on respecting the artist for their art and allowing for more creative control. But THAT'S not the message that gets picked up- people instead want to push PAYING them. Which I agree is also important, but I think what's more important is artistic integrity.
Didymus 34,380
Ridiculous. In a world where people can easily be aware of thousands of artists, it's simply a folly to force them to pay for every single song they listen to. I'd be broke within a week if I had to do that, so I do illegally download before I'm sure an album is worth buying. How can I respect an artist without getting the time to get to know his works before I buy them? That's not how it works in the art industry either. The artists (who are signed - lucky b---hes) are the ones getting paid for doing what they supposedly love, so they better quit complaining with their record label salary and work on creative ways to get people to know and love them. Earning respect is about putting in the work, not complaining about not getting any.

giskardsb 12,565
She's right. If you don't support music then you will get nothing but disposable music, because by not paying you are saying music and artists have no worth. Not paying forces labels to support only what might have the widest possible audience. It means more generic and less innovation. I have no issue with "previewing" before you buy. But if you keep it, pay for it.
