Why is there such huge pressure for the "girls" to get the billion views? Stop pitting women against each other. All of them, from Gaga to Madonna, Katy to Taylor have spoken out about the fact the media and people like you need to stop pitting them all against one another. There is no real contest between them. Dark Horse and Roar came out a while ago, Blank Space is pretty recent. Yes they achieved a billion views within days from each other but they come from totally different era's. Katy released her videos in summer 2013 and early 2014. Taylor late 2014 and 2015. PSY coming in out of nowhere and slaying that international market.This was a cute video that told a story for a cute song, much like Roar, so we shouldn't be surprised it's reached 1 billion so quickly.
