What I've been dreaming of since the fame ball came with its indy rock look at Glastonbury.

"Red moon, Blue moon" is a dual album showing 2 sides of Lady Gaga. Red Moon focuses on her intense ambition, her life as an indy rock groupie in New York. Blue Moon focuses on her bluesy jazz and classically trained history, with a song inspired by the classic "Blue Moon".

RED MOON TRACKLIST

(Blood) On the dancefloor × "With your knife in my back, there's blood on your hands" The song uses a metaphor of murder but is about taking your boyfriend to a club and he winds up ditching yourself for some tramp.

Red Moon × "I see a red moon rising" by sampling a classic track in lyrics only, Gaga adds her own melody and meaning to it. The red moon rising is a metaphor for a penis getting hard in front of her face. There's a big 80s bonus Jovi style guitar riff in this.

Rebel **ore × "With a rebel yell, she  cried ***** ***** *****" A sample of "Rebel Yell" The song isfrom the perspective of haters that don't understand Gaga at all. Lyrics such as "beaten down with 4x4, just to get you on the floor" lyrics take a duality to talk down the virtues of cliché 4x4 pop music. In order to stay true to the message, the vocal gaps in this are flooded with intense musical skill. From an aggressive violin to a detuned feedback flooded guitar.

Black Russian × "Had enough of Jack & Jim, American guys. All I needs a wild black Russian" Listing men as drinks, she no longer gets a buzz from American liquor. This song contains serious shade to an ex "Nebraska wine, that's all he did, spineless first love full of *hit" Musically this is in the same vein as you and I. 

Forever lasting × "I need this night to be forever lasting" a true "end of the night" track where everyone's singing and waving their arms, drinks in the air, and doesn't want to go home. A euphoric "Mr Brightside" "Sex on fire".

Sunset × "At the end of the day, all the love has gone away, now for us there's nothing left, I'll dissappear in the sunset" about the end of an experience when yu just have to leave. It's about death, divorce, moving home, leaving work. Sonically, it's  a throwback to "The Queen" second half. 80s light rock, fhuge dramatic vocal.

BLUE MOON

Blue Moon × "Blue Moon,  I saw you standing alone" sampling the classic, Gaga's smokey vocals ride along the gentle waves of piano and violin.

Paradise × A long awaited song about reaching heaven, but it's not what it should be.

Smoke × "Cigarette stains on a bottle of whiskey, the smell of smoke lingering in the room." A smokey blues jazz track. Takes you back to a French cafe in 1924.

Music × Standout track featuring no vocal. This is Gaga back to her roots channelling Philip glass on piano. This piano solo lasts 6 minutes and takes the listener on a journey from slow beginnings through to a huge raging emotion and on to reminiscing. It's the bohemian rhapsody of piano solos.

Come with me × "to deserted lands, through twisted tides to paradise" a dreamy wish to dissappear with a lover.

 

Aesthetically, ripped band thirty,  big boots, no pants & a raggedy blonde long bob.

This would be my dream. Lyrics at her best, looking like Debbie Harry brought into her prime and on tour with kiss, sounding like a legend.
