Kacey Elizabeth 900
She can churn out an album very fast because she isn't very involved in the process. You obviously don't know anything and are just blabbing out of your hate for Katy. Katy is in complete control of her career, image, and music in all directions. Katy is the boss and the CEO in her team and career and she drives the ship. She makes all the decisions about her songs, albums, art direction, music videos, choreography, photoshoots (album, magazine, etc.), performances, outfits, hairstyles, tours, and etc... They are all from her own vision and brain. Katy writes and composes the lyrics, chorus, melodies, and hooks of all her own songs and she tells her producers that how her tracks should sound like and be arranged, mixed, and produced and shouldn't sound like and be arranged, mixed, and produced. Katy comes up with the concept of all her songs on her own months before writing them. All the lyricists that she has ever worked with on some her songs from her discography and unreleased collection (Bonnie McKee - 8 songs, Ester Dean 2 songs, Sarah Hudson - 1 song, and Sia - 1 song) all have said that writing with Katy is TRUE co-writing and that Katy is the main writer behind her songs who comes up with majority of the ideas. All the things I just said were told by people who've worked with Katy including songwriters, producers, dancers, designers, stylists, directors, music industry and record label insiders (even Capitol's CEO said that Katy is the brains of her own operation, meaning that she is the driving force in her career, image, and music), managers, assistances, tour crew members, and etc... Katy even found her own record company last year. People like you to obviously don't know anything about Katy and her involvement in/with her career, image, and music. Please do some research before trying to sound smart. Your Candy Perfume Girl

Spock 20,290
Bonnie deserves Katy's success. Life is unfair, but what can we do? I'm all for Katy shade even though I like and kinda stan for her (what can I say ) but I agree to a certain extent. Yes she deserves amazing success but I mean, there is a reason why Bonnie has been in the industry for so long and never got the right push/exposure with her incredible songwriting, idk why, so maybe she needs someone like Katy as a platform for her songs. But I do think it must be super frustrating to see somebody else sing your songs and turn them into iconic hits while you can barely put out your own material, let alone have it be successful. idk, I'm just happy she is finally putting stuff out who will love me when the night is over

Well, Bonnie has been very vocal about the whole Teenage Dream song and album concept coming from her and having a really hard time letting it go, since she was planning on using it for her album and it was the favorite song she (as in just Bonnie) had ever written, so this essay doesn't really convince me who will love me when the night is over
Kacey Elizabeth 900
Katy still has the Latin American leg of The PRISMATIC World Tour left, and there are rumors that there will be dates added in South Africa as the final leg for the tour. She needs to rest and just enjoy herself. As for Bonnie, her Bombastic EP SLAYS! Hopefully she'll get more recognition with this EP. And American Girl had so much potential to be a hit I love your iconic walls of text. Has anyone ever read any of them? I certainly haven't. Of course, you don't read them, cause you do not want your delusional and little world to get a taste of reality. I pity you with all honesty. She only talked about the song, not the album. Plus, she never said that she wrote the song. It was just a concept and idea which she played around with for sometime and after she met Katy (again, back in 2009), they both started writing the actual song together, since Katy herself had a concept and idea in her head similar to what Bonnie had and Katy had written songs before with similar concepts to Teenage Dream. Bonnie herself multiple times vocally has said that she writes all those songs (including Teenage Dream) WITH Katy, and while Katy was performing at SuperBowl Halftime show, Bonnie tweeted said that she is so proud of Katy and happy to see her performing songs that they wrote TOGETHER. You can hear it on “Confessions of a Teenage Girl,” off her first album, all the way through to this year’s “American Girl,” where she sings: “I fell in love in a 7-Eleven parking lot / sat on the curb drinking Slurpees we mixed with alcohol / we talked about all our dreams and how we would show ‘em all…” “It’s been kind of an ongoing thing,” says McKee of her favorite theme, “so writing ‘Teenage Dream’ was very dear to my heart, because I finally got to use that concept and have it work.” http://www.bmi.com/news/entry/bmi_songwriter_bonnie_mckee_is_ready_for_her_close-up She takes sole credit for the concept. She says that the she thought of the concept and idea of Teenage Dream years before writing the song, and that it was difficult giving it to Katy since she identified with it so much and was deeply personal. Bonnie has been saying so ever since the American Girl promo rounds, her In Bed With Joan Rivers interview, a Red Carpet interview during Roar/pre-Prism and a bunch of others that I won't waste time googlingOh, and also a podcast she did a few months back who will love me when the night is over
Kabexuela 1,184
Oh please girl. The only queen in the studio is Gag's. Katy pops up, says hi to Bobbie, goes over the songs that a team of 500 have slaved over while she toured, goes home, unhooks her bra, and let's out a huge fart. YASSS I'm bitter. So I don't know why you're arguing with me about it here. Bonnie also has said that she always had a teenage theme going on with her songs. What I am saying here is that Katy also had input on writing Teenage Dream and the idea and concept was something that Katy related to and identified with a lot as well (since it was around those time that she fell in love with Russell and started dating him), and Katy herself already had songs (such as One Of The Boys and some songs from her unreleased collection) that she wrote which are pretty close to the concept and idea of Teenage Dream, so it's not impossible that both Katy and Bonnie were thinking about the same concept, idea, and theme for a long time and when they finally met each other again they started writing together about it.
