Bobby said no pop music until 2016, GGD confirmed it was pop, Gaga is working with RedOne and Giorgio Moroder, so dance, pop, disco and synth pop will be the genres. It may be rock influenced like The Fame and Born This Way but she clearly won't release a full rock album after ARTPOP. Yeah ARTPOP was successful but still an underperformance to Gaga standards, if she wanna stay on the top (which I'm pretty sure she wants even if she says "music not the bling") she'll release a pop album. SG Band was what she wanted to do, Fusari talked her into the electronic pop route, and said in an interview it took some arguing to get her to agree to try it.
