At this point, even if it isn't the most likely outcome, it's definitely a possibility. The curly wig was a hint at Jazz, the Disney era in 2012 was a hint at the original ARTPOP, the darker performances toward the end of TF era was a hint at TFM era. For all we know, the rock outfits and performances could be hinting at a rock era. Stop trying to make the rock fans seem ridiculous when you're the close minded one. Any early fans could tell you that gaga has been wearing rock t shirts for a long time. She's also done rock rendition of her performances. Not saying it's impossible but it's very unlikely but very possible for the future. People expecting gaga to stop making dance music are more close minded than people doubting a rock album next year. It'll happen eventually but definitely not on the next album but I'm sure some songs will be rock influenced. I think people get carried away because redone carried a guitar and used to produce rock songs which still doesn't convince a person with common sense that they are producing rock music. If Rihanna was wearing Iron Maiden t shirts I suppose she'd be doing a rock album too right? Mariah carey does a led zeppelin cover, must mean she's doing a rock album next. but there's a difference between your Rihanna scenario and the situation at hand with Gaga. Gaga has actually been performing rock songs for the last couple of months and she's been consistently hinting at rock through her Instagram. She is also trying her absolute hardest to look like a rock star and that isn't limited to the rre shirts. I think just because Gaga hasn't hinted at that, it has more chances of happening than the rock thing. Gaga had a whole different idea for ARTPOP and it ended up being totally different. Well heres my perspective, its not necessarily that the idea of Lady Gaga doing a rock oriented (emphasis on oriented) album is absurd. Clearly she has an affinity for 80s metal, classic rock, and goth/industrial/new wave. And I think its plausible that all of those influences will once again be present, maybe moreso, in this new record. But to say shes going to release an album that will officially be branded a rock or alt. album or something to me is not plausible. I think shes going to make music, pop music, and all of its influences will be accounted for like always. Electro is apart of rock, rock is apart of pop, pop is a fusion. I already addressed the rock shirts when I initially quoted you. And there were other examples I gave. Gaga has a thing for hinting. RockGa has stepped up to a whole new level in comparison to say a Poker Face performance which is performed in a rock like way.
