Would you be here for Stuart Price as a producer on LG5?

Scissor Sister's Night Work is very different from COADF. I'm sure if Gaga worked with him, she would deliver us a whole different sound. I am so here for her working with real producers.

What an AMAZING remix!! Thank you for posting! Is there anywhere I can buy it?

EDIT: Oh, I found it on iTunes. I thought this was new... I'm not usually interested in remixes.

Sorry sis but Hard Candy sold 4M copies worldwide, and it's lead single peaked at #3 in the BBH100, and #1 elsewhere. And it's tour is the highest grossing tour ever by a female artist :excuseu:

MDNA was her last successful album :deadbanana:

I feel like people over use sales stats when defending an artists last success. You have to look at a myriad of things that all combine to constitute a success, not just sales. Madonna is Madonna, people care when she releases an album, even when her sales are on the low they're not as low as bottom. So its like yeah Sticky & Sweet was one of the highest grossing tours of all time but that was in spite of the album, not because of it. Same goes for MDNA and its sales and tour sales. People want to see Madonna, they want to see everything she used to represent. It had nothing to do with Hard Candy or MDNA. And MDNA's sales had nothing to do with the album and everything to do with her being Madonna. You know what I mean? So technically nah, Confessions was her last success because it was her last album that was truly appreciated by real music lovers and pop consumers alike. The tour was successful not only because of her past but because of the record as well. Theres such a night and day difference between Confessions Madonna and how it was perceived to Hard Candy-onward and how it/she was perceived.

That's exactly what i did. I don't blame you because i didn't clarified in the OP, but imo Hard Candy is a very solid record. It's not a masterpiece, but it's super enjoyable. There's only one song (Spanish Lesson) that i don't like. But it succeded in all of it's fields.

Its not the worst thing shes ever made (in comparison to MDNA/Rebel Heart/True Blue) but its like to me not a very Madonna record. It felt like her pandering to the then urban centric timbaland headed market and I didn't find much of her in it. Particularly its dreadful lead single where it might as well have been featuring her I mean that was a Timbaland/JT track not Madonna. Idk, I enjoy Heartbeat and Miles Away for sure. But idk..... I think Hard Candy, MDNA, and Rebel Heart are like the trinity of her bad albums. MDNA of course being the rock bottom.

However I would include True Blue in that, I loathe that album sans Papa Don't Preach. Its astounding to me that its such a fan favorite. Like don't even get me started.
