Or maybe "you see I'm in jail but I'm gonna get out of here very soon " :whitney:

Yeah, remember when she released BTW and she said bullying songs were so metaphorical and BTW would be very direct?

Yes!! And she did it :proud: I can't stop praising Born This Way, it truly is great in every sense.

While the others are all about being fireworks and "you are perfect to meeee" she went right in the wound against racism and homophobia, even giving a shout-out to the transgendered for the first time ever in a song :gaga:

Eh, I really don't get why this is a fan favorite. Its honestly one of the most tepid songs on her debut imo.

The Monster Ball 1.0 was brilliant :applause: It had so many things that meant real deep s.hit but didn't make it to 2.0, including this amazing shade to Def Jam and the music industry.

It totally is. People always talk about what the song meant for her and how much they appreciate it. I remember back in the day, summer of 2010, I used to party with these guys everyday that were super into her and they would literally play Paper Gangster on repeat. My other friend is an ex-monster but I guess you could say still "stans" for Fame Gaga and considers it one of the album highlights. Granted, this would be a shallow observation if it weren't for the fact that for as long as ive been a member of pop and gaga forums specifically Paper Gangster always seems to be remembered as an album highlight. Im sure there are people that dislike it as much as me, but for the past 4 years that ive been frequenting such forums and had real life experiences with Gaga fans, Paper Gangster always seems to be one of those fan favorite album cuts (from The Fame specifically). When it comes to acknowledging her discography overall ill agree that at that point it usually gets lost in the shuffle.

OMG I WAS THERE FOR THIS PERFORMANCE :lolly: This entire show (Monster Ball 1.0) is my favourite out of every production she's done so far. It was the perfect balance between simplistic and massive.
