Gaga probably heard that the Pride parade was today in Chicago. When she saw so many people gathered, she thought it was the parade.                           The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. ;)

Don't we all lie though?  I don't think that Gaga ever lied on intention. She was probably just misinformed. And sometimes things just don't go the way we plan or want them to.

This right here.  Gaga must have known the Pride parade was yesterday and since she's not from Chicago, she must have assumed all those people down at Millenium Park were people celebrating Pride Sunday.  I'm pretty sure Gaga is totally unaware of the parade route.

Whats with that photo of gaga at downtown in california, and pride didn't even go downtown. She claims that she was watching down at the march but no one could of been there...? 

I've just noticed while stanning for her i've noticed some inaccuracies in stories. Like sometimes she'll change the meaning behind a song, or she'll list her inspirations and then we hear her say that "she's inspired by no one".

Damn then she is just outright lying for the heck of it . I always question whether shes telling the truth or not but now I really have to be alert.

But I find many of her childhood stories to be a bit invented, I mean, every artist she talks about she says something like "it was my first record / it was the first album I bought / it was the first album my dad gave me / I used to listen to this all day long when I was a kid", but I guess it's her way of saying that she admires an artist without sounding superficial.

Give Gaga a break, she is human. She probably was just feeling the Love and happiness and wanted to share a picture in the moment and show us her outfit and look! Nothing wrong with that~

I wouldn't say lies but I think she forgets the things she has said so when she retells a story it is slightly different each time. 

I I do think she exaggerates a lot though, particularly about her childhood, inspirations and such.

im sure there were plenty of pride flags visible even if it wasn't the official parade route.  It's not like people celebrating would be isolated to one part of the city.  People always have to assume the worse and of course many just enjoy looking for excuses to drag Gaga. Celebrate her message and quit hyper a--lyzing and looking for faults.

I don't think she flat out lies for the sake of it. Any time she does lie or exaggerate, there is a good reason for it. She does it to protect her privacy. For example, I always had this feeling that Gaga was exaggerating about how badly she was bullied in school. I think she wanted her fans to know that she went through some rough times when she was younger but she wasn't ready to reveal what happened to her when she was 19. So she put all those feelings and experiences under the moniker of being bullied in school.

Anyone else notice that in one version of the trashcan story she cried, and in another she didnt?  She most likely forgot tho, as it was some time ago.

I do think she lies sometimes, but I think it's just her getting over excited
