TimisaMonster 31,073
Example of a cool cover but not iconic  This also would've been epic as a album cover...total rave explosion!  Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
TimisaMonster 31,073
Can we take a moment to remember that Gaga posted this picture of the booklet on instagram, and then deleted it shortly I was so mad when she changed it to the basic booklet we got! This original one was giving me BTW Booklet vibes! This would've been epic too!  Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

This would've been epic too!  It was a quick last minute change too! I wonder what the reasoning was for the change.
TimisaMonster 31,073
It was a quick last minute change too!I wonder what the reasoning was for the change.Everything about the ARTPOP era felt like a last minute diluted change of the original vision...Venus changed to DWUW...ACT II not happening...Applause VMA performance...Swinefest Versions to Album Versions...X Factor DWUW/Venus...ARTPOP APP...Fiber Optic Wig being used on tour...No Telephone continuation even tho Gaga said she had already written the storyline for Aura Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Lady Palutena 2,994
It seems to me that a lot of people want Gaga to play it safe on her covers these days. You seem to forget that Gaga is NOT a typical popstar and she has NEVER played it safe. Okay, The Fame was a safe choice, but your holy grail of her discography, The Fame Monster wasn't a safe cover choice and Born This Way also was not. As much as I adore the ARTPOP promo pic, I don't see "ARTPOP" within it, visually. So, I still stand by my belief that NOTHING represents the sound of ARTPOP through image like the official cover. Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis. monsterdreams 1,529
Actually I don't remember that one, I remeber the one with multicoloured hairand I really really wanted the first promo pic too Haters gonna need more than a flashlight for my shade
Tropico 4,145
The current cover is beautiful and suits the album perfectly.   The cove in the OP is hideous.  ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢

Levine 18,552
 WHY GAGS??? WHY?? That pic is AMAZING, but it has nothing to do with the music on ARTPOP. The actual cover is perfect because is as messy as the music.
Lassex 1,169
I wish the AP cover was the first promo pic we got in the era I know right, it has been the background of my desktop since then
PartySick 135,737
Because I remember when a fan (Hey, MarcMonster!) said Gaga showed him the cover and she was wearing a black bandana or something like that and then we ended up getting that Koons mess and people ripped him to shreds. Was that before the Dope single art was revealed? That's what it sounds like  Melanie, 5/29 | Janet, 7/20 💃💚✨

The Child 18,994
Example of a cool cover but not iconic  Why wouldn't it be iconic ? ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Carmex 964
Was that before the Dope single art was revealed? That's what it sounds like  She supposedly showed him the cover the night she wore this: http://cdn01.cdn.justjared.com/wp-content/uploads/headlines/2013/09/lady-gaga-wears-full-face-mask-while-leaving-apartment.jpg Which by the way, is a look.
