Taylor doesn't have the performance cred or interesting factor live tbh, she just has good sets but that's not really "her" performance artistry showing imo

How do you know if they haven't asked her?...You don't know that. For all we know they probably asked her already and she turned it down. I reckon to believe she turned down the opportunity to perform at a Super Bowl. I think she's above that. If you think that they snubbed her because they "think that she's too gay for the Super Bowl", Then by that logic why the hell did they ask Madonna and Katy Perry??

I'm sure a lot of it might be to do with controversy. Gaga has bled to death on stage, has had a song called Judas and has recently had a cancelled video featuring R.Kelly directed by Terry Richardson where she appears naked.

After Janet's superbowl performance they are a bit careful of controversial performers. Madonna was finally asked in 2012 and she had the latest controversy with her guest M.I.A giving the finger.

Beyonce is pretty safe, Bruno Mars is pretty safe, Katy Perry is pretty safe. Someone like Taylor Swift also seems like the ideal candidate, very popular country girl with a lot of hits.

Gaga has swiftly changed her image since C2C. Since she has performed at the Oscars and European Games opening ceremony she has shown she can be an appropriate performer for these types of events, but I don't think she will be the go to option for a couple of years.
