Gaga Un-hinged

Just got done watching the entire SxSW festival.  I always tend to prefer Gaga's festival performances because they are more raw and straightforward.  SxSW was maybe the epitome of festival performances.   She was completely in the moment, performing just naturally and with total abandon, no choreography or scripts to tie her up, just raw unadulterated Gaga.   That was the ultimate pop star with rock star attitude version of her we've seen yet IMO.  Thats what I personally hope we see a lot more of in the future.   Say what you will about the ARTPOP era, but it gave us some fantastic performances.

what are your favorite examples of raw and slightly insane Gaga performances?

2010 BRIT Awards performance. I didn't enjoy it at first but now I appreciate it more.  It's a performance that was a change from what Gaga does as she was completely alone on that stage with that statue. Maybe not as crazy and unhinged a performance as SxSW but I thought that it showed her in a kind of "bare" form. Just her alone on that stage with no pyrotechnics and screens, with nothing to get in her way. There was a part during the DITD chorus when the lights behind her shone in a way that made her look bright and almost angelic, especially with the white pieces she was wearing that night.  It was raw and powerful.  :legend:

all of her vma performances, especially 2009.

I also like the 2011 grammys a lot along with this one for sure.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
