But... But... Bu.. I thought was doing this all for herself and she was "GREEDY!!!!1!!!111!!!!!".

Turns out that maybe - just maybe - Taylor earns enough money to not be bothered by this personally but she actually cares for smaller artists. :omg: :omg::omg: Who would've thought?

Also, this was already known before Taylor. Why does everyone say she was the first one to "expose them" :saladga:

Eh, doesn't matter. Streaming is the future of music.

Doesn't mean she(and others) can't at least get better deals out of it.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

To those saying "streaming is the future of music"

Taylor is not opposing streaming. Taylor is opposed to Apple using three months of free streaming as a marketing tool, and not even paying the artists who provide the music for those three months. It can make a big difference for artists that have not yet established themselves. These tweets prove that.

Those artists can remain UNKNOWN and bothered. Apple is giving them a huge tool to share their music to the world thats their payment

It's 3 months. Which is 10x worse :rip:

Kind of MTE, think in terms of opportunity costs.

Woops I wrote "weeks" at first and "months" after that :rip:. I can't post anything without having to edit it 10 times afterwards because of these things :sharon::saladga:

This is completely unfair. I am truly trying to understand her, but why isn't the same spotlight put into the acting industry? Netflix, Hulu, Amazon do the same thing, and you don't see actors complaining. And no, I am not talking about George Clooney and all them. I am talking about struggling actors. As a former actor, some artists (musicians/actors/others) get paid upfront a small percentage. And then they start to see money. But it all goes back to "Why are you trying to be an artist then? To entertain or be a millionaire? Because if you want to be a millionaire, bish better go to college instead of relying on a big cut to happen." Streaming is the future, and there is no way to stop it. Either be happy with the money youre earning from the streaming sites, or be happy with nothing, because Im sure if people cant find your catalog on the streaming service theyre paying, then they will go ahead and download it illegally.

Streaming might be the future, that's true but it doesn't mean that the writers that are behind the projects should be bullied by a big coorporation to basically give their livelihood up for free.
