MonsterMum 2,532
Her voice is damaged from singing "rock", drinking and smoking. Probably, lack of sleep, parties, drinking and then doing a demanding show like that. You could tell she was more raspy. She had to redo that line in Bang Bang 3 times cause the first 2 were not smooth to continue with. She better watch out cause she has plenty of shows coming up. She had to redo that line in Bang Bang 3 times cause the first 2 were not smooth to continue with. She better watch out cause she has plenty of shows coming up.I bought 2 tickets, one for me and one for my mom at $292 each for the DC show. (The seats aren't even that great, its so expensive because they were resale tickets). This will be my first time seeing Gaga and I also want to potentially convert my Mom into a fan. She is just going with me because I would rather not go to a concert alone. She doesnt really want to go. She is kind of neutral about it. She was actually hardcore making fun of the Tony Bennett/Gaga collaboration until I told her I wanted to see them live. She hasn't even heard their music, she was just making fun of the premise of them collaborating. Anyway, I would like my mom to be impressed with them so I can sort of be like, "I told you they were amazing! See why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover ?"....Anyway, Im going to be really disappointed and upset if Gaga's voice isn't in its prime condition because of all the partying and side projects she is doing. Keeping her voice healthy for this tour should be her top priority, not doing screamy rock covers and drinking. She needs to be a professional, and I think she is 90% of the time. But Its pretty obvious that her voice was damaged sounding yesterday. I don't want to make any assumptions though. The change in vocal quality may have been for another reason, like if she was slightly sick or something. She still sounded really good, just not as good as usual. Zilla 13,346
Honestly, she was weak in the higher notes, often barely singing said notes as a safety. Not strong, like if I were talking to you and started talking quieter, that's how she was singing. But only a few songs, like la vie en rose she was on point, but some of them it was noticeable. Like her voice was strained, and couldn't get through them. Tony was more audible in the duets too 𝙸'𝚖 𝚊 𝚓𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕.
Rae 86
The La Vie En Rose is a great song for her. I love how she sings it. Don't know one word that she is singing but I love it.
