Giorgio Moroder has confirmed he'd like to release Britney Spears' cover of 'Tom's Diner' as an official single from his album 'Deja Vu' in the future.

Chatting to DigitalTrends.com about the track, he explained: "Britney had the idea of remaking some of her favorite songs, and that was the one she wanted to do with me. She called me and asked if I wanted to come down to the studio with her, but I couldn't because I was in Europe.

"So she gave me the vocal, and I put it in with the basic tracks I made for it. I upgraded the tracks with my revisions. At the end of the song, I added a little Vocoder, which I've always loved, just to see how it worked out. She liked it, and said she wanted it all throughout the song.

"I thought the original song was too short. I'm used to verse chorus, verse chorus, whatever, and then a bridge. So I thought, "OK, I'm going to compose a bridge." Again, I got permission to play it with the Vocoder, and now I can say I have a song created with Britney Spears."

He added: "I hope that one day we'll release it as a single", but laughed off performing the track with Britney at the Grammys, instead saying he may appear in a music video.

Moroder also went on to talk about potentially working with Lady Gaga, saying: "Well, management called me a few months ago and asked if I wanted to work on some of the songs on her next album, but it didn't work out yet because she was busy and I was busy, so, timewise, it was difficult. But it's still open. I'm still interested."

Britney uploaded it to her VEVO  today

I really love Moroder ! I wish him to work on next Gaga's album !

I'm pretty sure if he would have got a song with Gaga on his album he would have released it as a single !

Her performance on God's Diner could be career saving tbh. Nobody in the gp is having Brit right now and this song could show that Britney is a mature artist who doesn't always sound like a robot trying to impersonate a 6 year old singing through their nose(which seems to be what most think of her despite all the previous times she's proven herself). Also the intrumental made for the song sounds like it could be a good song for radio. Too bad her team thinks PG and BJ are what the world wants from Brit so it'll never happen:neyde:

It probably wouldn't do well, but I'm so proud that Britney herself wanted to do it :legend:

Cool it's still going to flop:lolly:

I'm sorry, but I could have sworn we were on a website dedicated to a woman who's currently devoted to singing Jazz and just last year released a single off her underperforming album strictly for fanservice becuase she knew she had no chance with it. Must have stumbled on to Beyoncedaily by accident instead.

Still though I guess you're right about Britney flopping despite the massive piles of receipts that prove she's a music industry icon who doesn't need to worry about success becuase she's set for life and will be remembered as a legend for decades to come no matter how abysmal things looks in the present.:lolly:

Wildstar feat. Foxes is a better choice imo, even if she doesnt have as much "starpower" :emma: an EDM-Disco bop tbh :music: Imo, the best song on the album

I'd like to see a music video though  especialy if its on the caliber of Right Here, Right Now by Kylie Godogue :awesome:

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
