Nothing. She straight up said she didn't know what Gaga's skills were like. She literally meant was that no matter her skill, she would have the opportunity to learn and be backed up by other PROFESSIONAL actors.

I'm sure people are looking too far into it, after all Jessica chose to leave it's not like she has anything to be bitter about. She could have had a major main role handed to her on a plate but she didn't want it.

+ she is right, we have never seen Gaga act fully so no one knows if she is going to make a great actress, but being surrounded by such professionals will be the best place for her to learn. She's just being very up front instead of pandering to her with unearned compliments, just her way of saying things I guess.

That's not really the same though... I call this being a performer... But being the lead lady of a show will require actress talent... I have no doubt Gaga can be a great actress but Jessica Lange got a point, we'll only know she's good when we'll see her in this show... Now we only can say she'll play with a good team.

I mean her acting in King Kong was tragic and even her fake accent was bad in Freakshow.... its like give Gaga a break nobody said Gaga replaced Lange...
