This has happened to me many times Ex 1: I think that I was in sixth grade, but what happened was that I was on the school bus and The Edge Of Glory was on. Anyway, some kid in front of me was being immature and was complaining about the song and yelling at the bus driver to turn it off so I told him that it was about her grandparents and poured water on his head. Yeah, I know, that was immature of me to but I was very young and didn't understand Ex 2: Last Summer I was in a play with somebody, and she was saying how she hates pop music and that she hated Lady Gaga. I gasped. She and her friend said that her songs were tacky and that she couldn't sing. She also said that she feels that somebody shouldn't wear a meat outfit for attention it should be for their talent. I then told them that Gaga has been playing piano since the age of four and that I saw her live and that she could sing and that she also sings live and sings Jazz. I also said that the meat dress had a statement. This was a more mature way of me handling it then pouring water on their heads I then continued being friendly with them because they really weren't mean people and we got along besides that There are more examples but those were just two What have you guys done? I love her a lot but I'm not gonna defend her over someone's opinion. If someone says she can't sing then I might say "well she actually has an amazing beautiful voice" but I still wouldn't go out of my way and tell them to watch certain performances because I really couldn't give a damn. Occasionally, going to a Christian school, I get into debates about her use of religion but it's usually just deabtes. My class is forever having debates so it's nothing out of the ordinary. My Gaga debates have got heated but I know my friends can handle the heat. One time I had a friend who would go out of her way to trash Gaga and it annoyed me so much and the smartest thing I ever did was tell her: "I don't like this constant negativity. Be respectful or we can avoid each other." It ended right then and there. My "threats" to avoid and ignore a person are never really threats.
