Gianni Versace 2,987
No wonder John Mayer praised ARTPOP, because Gaga actually saw her vision to the end and didn't do silly things like this. This is the furthest from the truth in regards to Gaga's reverence towards ARTPOP as an album. She was not passionate about it one bit and did not see "her vision to the end". That's actually the opposite of what happened. And, I can't say I blame her- like I said about Rihanna with #R8, if the artists aren't proud of the final product, then they shouldn't release it. Gianni Versace 2,987
If she scrapped her potential Magnum Opus due to commercial performances of her singles she's dead to me. She glorified the musical direction of her latest album so much and praised its artistry and now that b---h is taking a major turn. That's the definition of an opportunist manifactured pop star. It was nice to be a fan of her latest efforts in music for a few months... Because God forbid her not attaching her name on to something she's not 100% proud of. I mean, if you got a report card and received low marks, would you hang it on the fridge? Sure, that's an exaggerated a--logy, but it's still applicable. BUT let's not just take one article as solid fact that she's scrapping a full album lest we'll all look foolish and gullible.

Gaga wouldn't have released ARTPOP if she wasn't proud of it or at least liked everything she did on it Shes quite a perfectionist. She was proud of the album, it just wasn't entirely what she wanted; she had to compromise sometimes. She definitely saw her "vision to the end" as she went on a worldwide tour to support the album and preach about the vision of the album relentlessly for months. You don't have to bring Gags down to lift up Rih 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

thierryrreiht 20,997
SEE?! This is, according to what the article said, an artist who doesn't believe in her artistry. Rihanna, if she was the boss a$$ b*tch that she says she is, would be fearless in front of the critics and release her material as she wants. But because of the negative response, she lets those take control of her music. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, because I'm really not a fan of her or her music, but like, a Queen should never let the public control her. Influence, maybe, but not control. #NoCrownForU

You don't have to bring Gags down to lift up Rih 1. I never brought Gaga down. I simply made a observation of what I saw during the era after the other user brought it up. If you were reading carefully, you'd take note of me saying "I can't say I blame her- like I said about Rihanna with #R8, if the artists aren't proud of the final product, then they shouldn't release it" 2. You cannot tell me truthfully that Gaga saw her vision 100% to the end when she sold the album short. DWUW didn't even have a video for god's sake. She may have promoted ARTPOP as a concept more than the actual content and album. AND AGAIN, I REPEAT I do not blame gaga! As the artist, she has every right! super ultra 878
didn't she say that she wants to discover new sounds or something like that? yeah I see... the whole era is a mess I wish I could work with Paul McCartney & Kanye just for "promo singles".... and BBHMM wasn't that bad, I liked it

She may have promoted ARTPOP as a concept more than the actual content and album. AND AGAIN, I REPEAT I do not blame gaga! As the artist, she has every right! DWUW exists; she just didn't release it because of its content. She also made an expensive video project for G.U.Y, knowing that it would not lead to commercial success or revive the album in anyway. I still think supporting and promoting the album with an expansive worldwide tour would be"seeing things to the end", even if there are bumps along the road, the key word is "to the end" -- which she did imo, 100%. She also continued to defend her work the majority of the era #MusicNotTheBling. I have nothing against Rihanna, though if this is true it definitely paints the image that she, or her label, is changing their mind about the era because it hasn't been as well received as her past efforts. That seems a bit sad. If Rihanna liked where she was going with the music, I say she should stick to it. #MusicNotTheBling If not, she's welcome to change it, though I have a bit less respect if its just because the public didn't just go crazy over it the same way she did(?). 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
GagaMyBlood95 9,915
Her team realized people are NOT here for this kind of music from her so they scrapped the whole album which was bad obviously if those were the best song, and are now trying to make a new one fast. And we thought it couldn't get any worse than the ARTPOP era Never say never.

TimisaMonster 31,073
Wow Rihanna...just wow...you DECLARING your 3 singles as BUZZ singles isn't going to fly! Your singles and album was flopping and your label chewed you out to make some more generic dance music if you wanna successful era and album This is just so sad...she's desperately trying to find producers, but her writers already have R8 ACT II ready...she just needs the instrumentals Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
