Babel 41,516 Posted June 14, 2015 Share Posted June 14, 2015 I was listening to the all singles released by Madonna chronologically and there's a clear decline in quality that began in Hard Candy (with the exception of Miles Away) and ends up in this mess.I hope someday she will bring again something less embarrasing and cringeworthy and more creative cautivating and inspirational as her efforts previous 2008. She's on that point when generally artists that have had a legendary career release new albums and don't put so much effort into it, like just to get fun and extend some of their sales/chart records, and that's a little unfair to fans who always buy their music.Like Britney once said when asked about her lack of input on her album Britney Jean: "I don’t really have anything to prove at this point. Madonna is way more involved and commited I feel, but it does seem commercial success is her main motivator, not her love for music. Glad there's Gaga. It had the Madonna sound.People are obviously wanting ROL 2.0 and that's never gonna happen. Aside from the REBEL songs, they are some very great songs on RH; WAOM, Joan of Arc, HBC.
