thierryrreiht 20,981 Posted June 17, 2015 Share Posted June 17, 2015 So I was thinking about this concept So you all know that Taylor gathered her little army of friends/models/singers/actresses for Bad Blood. Now, we see Madonna do the same with fellow major female singers and Rita Ora. For Gaga, I don't think she's going to follow the trend (à la "F-off Tidal"). However, this would be cool: The concept I have is Gaga, alone, with a medium shot of her, in the light, while everything behind her is black. She sings the song, the camera not moving. At the bridge, I imagine lights illuminating what's behind her: an "army" of women--and men, and non-binaries--who were victim of rape or any other physical abuse. As the camera moves backwards in the air, everyone is singing, to finish with a Gaga close up, crying (à la "Judas, Gaga") while singing the final "you don't know how I feel" (Bonus: the "army" is shaped like a heart) It's super simple, and I'm sure it would shock people with its simplicity and message. Rather than having CGI and/or irrelevant featurings. Just a thought.. What do you think?? Was the message similar? I think the song NEEDS a video and so does Diane but I think it would be weird to have a song about rape and not have any victim in the video (other than gaga)... And I think Gaga-esque videos would be too much for the message and for the song itself (though we're STILL waiting to hear the final version...) Yes and then people will recognize Gaga's struggle!
