Jurassic World hits 1.5 billion dollars and becomes #3 movie all time

I just saw at the cinema here in Norway

Or that this movie existed, but apparently it has a cult-like following

Still not interestd in seeing it tho  But congrats I guess

Jurassic World was entertaining for what it was. It didn't try to invent the wheel and it accepted it was just a silly popcorn movie, which I kind of liked about it. Jurassic Park was obviously a million times better, but this was the best sequel, IMO.

As much as I loved the movie...in December Star Wars will slaughter all records

 

However, this jus goes to show how Jurassic Park fans really wanted to see a return to the big screen!What kind of slayage! 

 

They were holding off sequel planning to see if the movie would do well or not but hopefully this gives them the incentive to move forward with another one!

Wow. For years I just knew the movie as 'Jurassic Park IV' in the 'development hell' section on Wikipedia that was probably never going to be made, and now this  Anyway I loved it. 

Also I'm glad Chris Pratt is in the movie because that has made it a LOT easier for me to drag my friends to see it

What even  

​Yes, that time the title would be Jurassic Park: Extinction and was aimed for 2005 release.

But it doesn't work because the scripts are all terrible and Spielberg having none of it.

It is only starting to move in the right direction in 2011, when he attends Comic Con.

2013 we have the fixed title, Jurassic World and they start filming the same year.

And so we have Indominus now.

I highly recommend!

My favourite part: SPOILER ALERT!!!! 

Was when she introduced the T-REX. I was like "yaaaaas, gurl. Get that b---h!" 

 

It was simply too much at some points (T-rex working with a raptor??? are you kidding me???  ) but overall it was great a nice reminder of my childhood

It's ridiculous that we can collectively spend half a billion dollars in one week to view a nonsense movie and yet b---h constantly about the lack of funding for literally all of the global problems that we could solve "if we just had more money."

​it has good reviews though.. Globally people like it so word of mouth has a good effect on sales.
