I agree with your point up until the point where you say "people who try to live with morals."

Morality =/= Religious beliefs

It's also disrespectful to assume that all atheists are moral-lacking hoodlums.

Based on what you believe...it sculpts how you act and treat people. People who try to be good Christians do hold themselves to higher standards than those who don't believe in the Bible...

For example, I don't curse, get drunk, do d--gs INCLUDING weed and cigarettes, have s-x/children before marriage, etc...all because of me living a Christian lifestyle.

You know what's hypocritical, Bristol, sweetie? Saying your against Government intrusion but then wanting to build a theocracy to dictate what goes on in bedrooms and private doctor's office. Seperation of Church and State is very much a thing here, which you and your mother would know about if you read more than celebrity gossip.

It's also hypocritical to constantly demean, lie, and harass members of different faiths (like Muslims) and then whine about how mistreated people of YOUR faith are because someone disagrees when your church's mandates and don't think a passage in YOUR book should dictate law for EVERYBODY ELSE. Or because someone doesn't want a Christmas tree in the mall (a pagan symbol, by the way, just as Easter was originally a pagan holiday).

What's amazing to me is when these people speak of tolerance, but ONLY FOR THEMSELVES. They want the world run according to their religious beliefs, but then complain when other religions want the same too (remember when people like the Palins ran around saying Muslim American's were going to try to change our laws based on what was in the Koran?). Because THEIR god is the bestest, don't you know?

Go back to trash-talking anyone that looks, thinks, or acts different and then in the same breath talk about American patriotism.

Based on what you believe...it sculpts how you act and treat people. People who try to be good Christians do hold themselves to higher standards than those who don't believe in the Bible...

WHOA! STOP! That's incredibly insulting and WRONG

I'm putting you on ignore from now on just for that statement. Have a lovely day.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

That's disrespectful to call people who live Christian lives and believe in the Bible conservative and believing fairy tales...

Just cuz she wants to live a care free lifestyle doesn't mean it's superior to people who try to live with morals :awkney:

I believe the bible is a bunch of bull **** fairytales that is meant to serve as a moral guide, though morals from two thousand years ago

and what's wrong with cursing, drinking, doing d--gs and having s-x? are you looking down upon those who do those things? do you think you're better than them or pity them in some way?
