Discussing Miley's recent revealing Paper magazine interview, Bristol says the 22-year-old "We Can't Stop" singer is hypocritical when it comes to preaching tolerance. Miley, who grew up Christian, criticizes fundamentalist lawmakers in the article.

"Those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws," Miley, who's been vocal about her support for LGBT youth, tells the magazine. "That's f--king insane," she adds about those who take the Bible literally, such as Noah's Ark being a a true story. "We've outgrown that fairy tale, like we've outgrown f--king Santa and the tooth fairy."

Later on she calls her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, "conservative-ass motherf--ers," though Paper notes that she does so "lovingly."

"While her nude photo shoot has attracted the attention of many, it is her hilarious tirade about tolerance that turned my head," the 24-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin writes in a new blog post. "Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs?"

"She wants everyone else to let her be 'free to be Miley,' but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith," she adds. "Oh, Miley. Thanks for giving us the best example of what ‘tolerance’ looks like in Hollywood: it looks a lot like contempt."

I just want to add something to Miley's point. She's right. When you take a government position you no longer represent just Christians or just any one group. You represent EVERYONE and it's your JOB to support and help EVERYONE regardless of YOUR PERSONAL opinions or feelings.

If you can't handle that, stop being a government official ffs because you're not doing your job.

You're stinky

Bristol is the epitomy of hypocrisy

That girl literally talked about how gay marriage ruined "traditional family values," only to have a kid out of wedlock a little while later. :rip:

Who gives a **** what Bristol or any member of the Palin family thinks about anything? They're all media-hungry attention *****s who are clinging to the last shreds of relevance they have, and you only ever see them in the news when they say something derogatory about a celebrity. The media should stop giving them a platform.

If she wants a true example of hypocrisy, Sarah should look at her daughter, Bristol.

And Sarah wants respect for Christians, but not for LGBT members or allies? Okay.

It's only hypocrisy or prejudice if they don't get their way. Disgusting people.

Tbh :applause:  It's simple, even when you dont think legality, one of these is moral and logical, the other isn't.

"My religion prevents Me from doing that"

"Okay"

"You can't do that because of My religion"

"Stop"

/thread to the entire religious excuse to be ignorant and deny people rights tbh :smh:

That's disrespectful to call people who live Christian lives and believe in the Bible conservative and believing fairy tales...

Just cuz she wants to live a care free lifestyle doesn't mean it's superior to people who try to live with morals :awkney:

I agree with your point up until the point where you say "people who try to live with morals."

Morality =/= Religious beliefs

It's also disrespectful to assume that all atheists are moral-lacking hoodlums.

What's a Bristol? :reductive2:  Oh, I remember! The irrelevant, uneducated, hypocritical daughter of the dumbest politician in American history

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.
